SlipSmart Australia is a family owned business run by father and son team Peter & Brent Vournechis. Together they have a combined 40+ years experience in the slip test industry and are passionate about floor safety. As a family-owned business reputation is everything. Our Methods & Equipment

Industry leading slip resistance equipment for greatest accuracy Our equipment is calibrated prior to each test to ensure reliable accurate testing. All equipment we use meets the specifications of the Australian/New Zealand Standards and European Union, International Standards organization. SlipSmart Australia Pty Ltd can provide you with an instantaneous printout of the measurements made during the test. The Tortus II Floor Friction Tester A microprocessor controlled precision instrument, which directly measures the dynamic coefficient of friction as it moves across a surface of flooring. The British Pendulum Tester This apparatus measures the skid resistance between a rubber slider mounted on the end of a pendulum arm and the test surface.
