We offer our clients a precise audit of materials which will be installed on their floor surface in accordance with Australian Standards AS 4586-2013 Slip resistance classifications of new pedestrian surface materials laboratory testing using either Appendix A Wet Pendulum Test Method for wet floor surface materials and will indicate the results as P0, P1, P2, P3, P4 or P5 as indicted in Table 1 below, Appendix B. Dry Floor Friction Test Method laboratory testing per installation of floor surfaces materials for dry areas and the results are recorded as Table 2 below D1 or D0.

If in-situ floor surfaces are required to be tested we slip test in accordance with Australian Standards AS 4663-2013 Slip Resistance Measurements of Existing Pedestrian surfaces, Appendix A Wet Pendulum Test Method in this Standard the slip resistance results are recorded as SRV (slip resistance Value) as below, Appendix B. Dry Floor Friction Test Method I this Standard are recorded as coefficient of Friction ≥0.40 or ≤0.40.

Appendix A. Wet Pendulum Test Method. (In-situ and Lab Testing)
