As well as being certified across all slip testing procedures, Peter Vournechis was a board member of Standards Australia and directly involved in the creation and amendment of national accreditation procedures. Both Peter and Brent hold current accreditation across all relevant testing authorities. This combined with their 40+ years experience in the floor safety industry means your business premises and organisation is in safe hands.

Standards Australia

We hold current accreditation to provide slip testing and floor safety services for the following Standards Australia criteria.

AS 4586-2013 (Slip resistance classification of new pedestrian surface materials)
AS 4663-2013 (TSlip resistance measurement of existing pedestrian surfaces)
SA HB 198:2014 (Specification and testing of slip resistance of pedestrian surfaces)

National Association Of Testing Authorities (NATA) Accreditation

We are certified under NATA's official and only broader accreditation for slip testing in Australia - AS ISO/IEC 17025. This allows us to test pedestrian surfaces and provide reports, consultation, investigation for expert witness reports and other services related to the results we obtain. SlipSmart Australia is recognised as an accredited Testing Laboratory.

As well as being accredited by NATA, in 2011 we were personally tasked with providing our services for their own Brisbane head office.

Workplace Health & Safety

Our team are kept constantly updated on all relevant Work Place Health and Safety Procedures for the work we carry out and are strictly adhered to these at all times. SlipSmart Australia is also insured for 20 million dollars for public liability, meaning we are fully covered in the case an accident or damage at your premises.
